Top Ten Tuesday2

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by The Broke & The Bookish.
Each week they release a Top Ten Theme and invite everyone to join in and make their own Top Ten List.

So I’ve only got 7 this week, but every single one of these authors is truly amazing and I really really wish that more people knew about them!

Keary TaylorI chatted about my love for Keary Taylor in my Birthday Post, but needed to include her in this list because her books are just amazing. What I Didn’t Say left me hanging for weeks and it is still to this day one of the most amazing books I have ever read. Every chance I get I recommend Keary because she really does deserve so much more attention for her phenomenal writing talent.

Non PrattI had the chance to see Non at a panel at YALC and fell in love with her immediately, so much in fact that after seeing her I went straight over to the table selling her new book Trouble and bought it. And it was INCREDIBLE. It’s such a good debut and I really hope that more people start to take notice of her.

E.K.BlairI found her Fading series (Fading, Freeing, Falling) just by chance but I am so glad that I did. The power of her writing was inspiring and it didn’t take me long to fall in love with her. She is one of those writer who doesn’t get scared off by the difficult topics, she dives right into them and really excels at them. I feel that she hasn’t had nearly enough attention for her writing, especially the Fading Series.

Tillie ColeTillie has a big online following, and is quite well known in the blogging world. But it’s the outside world, where the non book nerds dwell, that she’s not as well known. I would love to walk into a book store or my local library and see one of her books on the shelf. All of her books are amazing, but recently It Ain’t Me Babe and Sweet Fall have really shown was an incredible writer that she is and I really hope more and more people discover her in the future and have the joy of reading her books.

S.E.HallHow S.E.Hall doesn’t have more of a following I will never know. Her books are a mix of fun but with serious topics mixed in and feature some of the best characters I have ever read. I LOVED her Evolve Series (Emerge, Embrace, Entice) and I am so excited for the new books she is bringing out this year. S.E.Hall’s books are the type that you can pick up whether you are in a good mood, bad mood or even can’t be bothered reading and you will enjoy ever minute of reading it. More people need to know about her!!!

Cassie MaeCassie’s books are just pure fun and I don’t think an author has ever made me laugh out loud as much as Cassie has. I have major love for her Bed’s series (King Size Beds & Happy Trails, Beach Side Bed’s & Sandy Paths) You get the feeling that when she writes she just pours all the best bits of herself onto the pages to create these hilarious stories and loveable characters. VERY underrated author!!!

Becca & Krista RitchieThese two are like the dream team of the writing world. I’m pretty sure they have twin telepathy which is why they write such amazing books. Their Addicted Series (Addicted to You, Ricochet, Addicted for Now, Kiss the Sky, Hothouse Flower, Thrive) is just WOW, and they are currently on their 7th book of the series and every book is just as good if not better then the previous. Very addictive writing! Their’s is another series that I would love to see on the shelves of my local bookstore/library!

Have you read anything by any of these authors?

Do you love them as much as I do?

I love this topic for the top ten list. I’m not familiar with the authors on this list and I’m happy to be introduced to these new to me books.

  2. Elen @ A World of Reviews

I’ve only heard of Non Pratt on this list because I keep seeing Trouble every time I go to the bookshop. It looks so good! I need to check out these other authors though, so thank you for the recommendations!

  3. Shannon @ It Starts At Midnight

I definitely need to read Trouble! It sounded amazing since the first time I heard about it. Why haven’t I read it yet!? I have read What I Didn’t Say by Keary Taylor and I did enjoy it. Now I am going to have to go check out some of these other authors too. Great list!
