Top Ten Tuesday2

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by The Broke & The Bookish.
Each week they release a Top Ten List and invite everyone to join in and make their own Top Ten List.
.
RAINBOW ROWELL
Her books look so amazing and everyone is always going on about them, so WHY HAVEN’T I READ ANY OF THEM?!?!?! By the end of this month I WILL have read at least one of them!
.
GAYLE FORMAN
Another one that I really love the look of her books and have read such great reviews but still haven’t read them. I even bought one of her books before I went to China, and it is still sat on my desk, slightly dusty and, untouched.
.
TAHEREH MAFI
I have been meaning to read the Shatter Me series FOREVER, and still haven’t gotten round to it. Have heard really amazing things about this author, and I can’t wait to actually read one of her books!

STEPHANIE PERKINS
Again, I have her books sat in a neat (yet dusty) pile on my desk and just haven’t read them yet. Really want to get into the Anna and the French Kiss series though. Sounds awesome!
.
MICHELLE HODKIN
I only recently discovered her books, but from the reviews that I read they went straight up to the top part of my TBR list. From what I have read I have something very special to look forward to.
.
KAMI GARCIA
I’m not going to lie, I only discovered these books when the film was released. And although I know that the book and film are probably completely different, they must have the same basic storyline, which is the thing I loved most about the film. I really want to see this story from Kami’s hand, the way it was meant to be told.
.
ORSON SCOTT CARD
Like the above author, I only really found out about this set of books through the film, but for the same reasons I really want to read the book and see this world that he created from his hand. The reviews for his books have been incredible, and I really want to just immerse myself in his writing.
.
GEORGE R.R. MARTIN
I am such a fantasy nerd, like absolutely love it, which is why I am ashamed to admit that I have not yet read any of his books. I have all the Song of Fire and Ice books (so far) and yet they sit untouched. I really can’t wait to read one of his books and experience his talent at fantasy writing.
.
(honorary mention)
COLLEEN HOOVER
Up until 2 weeks ago I have never read any Colleen Hoover books and so wanted to mention her here basically for the reason that I CANT BELIEVE I WAITED SO LONG TO READ ONE OF HER BOOKS! I read Hopeless and it was INCREDIBLE! Reading Colleen after having her on my TBR list for so long just reminded me how much more organised I need to be with my reading because I am missing out of the greats and instead reading ok-ish books, which is STUPID!
.
Who haven’t you read yet that you wish you had?
.
Leave me a comment and let me know!
.
Also, Happy Pancake Day!!! (officially known as Shove Tuesday) I hope you all eat WAY too many pancakes and make yourselves feel so full you thinking you are going to be sick. There is no other way to celebrate pancake day! 😛

We’re all behind, I’m pretty sure. I think that’s the curse of a reader–we’re born, and there’s stacks of books that came before then, and so many published every year.

We can never catch up. But that also means we’ll never run out of new stuff to read! 🙂

I like you way of thinking, I never thought of it like that 🙂 My TBR grows faster then I can read them, guess we’ve just got accept that we are never going to be able to read every book in the world! Makes me slightly sad in a way though, that there is a potentially amazing book out there that I am never going to get to read! 🙁

That’s why my TBR list is in the hundreds despite my best efforts to cull titles and not add too many until I read some. I feel your pain!
