BOOKS I WOULD RECOMMEND TO… Someone who likes books that make you cry

I love reading books that make me cry. It probably sounds strange, but I do. You know that it’s a good book if it hits you in such a way that it leaves you sobbing for hours! Here are some of my top sobbing books, that I would definitely recommend to anyone who loves a good cry!
fault in our stars Before I Die Noughts and Crosses

The Fault In Our Stars – Even just reading the description sets me up to cry. Kids with cancer, in love. You know that you are going to need tissues for this one!

Before I Die – Again, you don’t really need much of an explanation as to why this one is going to be sad.

Noughts and Crosses – Forbidden romance. This book is beautiful and heartbreaking at times as we watch Stephy and Callum struggle to be together whilst the world does everything it can to keep them apart.

charlie st cloud
 unbreakable everyday

The Death and Life of Charlie St Cloud – A beautiful bond between brothers. But also Charlie struggles with choosing between his brother and living in the real world.

Unbreakable – This book is at times heartbreaking, and sticking with the characters through their struggles is sure to bring a tear or two to your eye.

Every Day – This book made me cry in a ‘its so beautiful’, ‘its so inspirational, ‘it’s so unfair’.

sweet home Allegiant

Sweet Home – Another book with some heartbreaking moments and struggles that left me slightly emotional…whilst on a plane!

Allegiant – A very emotional series finale. You will need tissues for this one.

one day my sisters keeper

One Day – This book rendered me emotionally unstable for about a week. Tissues are a must when reading this one.

My Sisters Keeper – Jodi Picoult has this extraordinary ability to make me feel emotions I never even knew that I had. This book is just … wow

Have you read anything on my list? What’s your favourite book that made you cry?

Thanks, I was really stuck for who I would recommend to, and then looked at my shelf and realised how many tear jerker books I have! Was a no brainer after that!
