Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten Books I Would Love to See as Movies/TV Series

June 2, 2015 Top Ten Tuesday 18

Top Ten Tuesday

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by The Broke & The Bookish. Each week they release a Top Ten Theme and invite everyone to join in and make their own Top Ten List.

So Summer officially started yesterday, and it’s rained ever since! But it does mean that it’s just over a month until I go to YALC wahooo! And also getting closer to some of the release dates for some of my most anticipated summer reads! Hopefully wherever you are the weather is nicer!

This week it’s all about the book we wish were movies/tv shows. We did this topic in September and you can see my list here and then check out my newer choices below…

The Winners Trilogy – I would love to see the world created by Marie Rutkoski on the big screen!

Never Never Trilogy – I really really love this story, it needs more recognition and would make a great film.

Kaleidoscope Hearts – It would make such a great romance film. It’s got the intense, emotional moments wrapped up in a sweet second chance romance

The Year We Fell Down – I remember reading this for the first time and it was such a unique concept for a YA romance, I would love to watch it as a film.

The Hades Hangmen Series – I miss Son’s of Anarchy, and Tillie’s Hangmen Trilogy gives us all the biker madness that we are desperately in need of with a unique love story beautiful entwined throughout.

The Addicted Series – I think this one would have to be a tv series. I want these characters on my screens every single week!

Stupid Girl – Another fun YA romance that would get our hearts fluttering and our mouths drooling! Casting of the beautiful boys would be very important for this one!

Sweet Series – It’s Tillie Cole, need I say any more?! This lady needs more recognition for her incredible work, and this story deserves to get onto the big screen. It would be perfect.

Eden Trilogy – The Walking Dead meets The Terminator, if they can get on screen then this trilogy definitely deserves it too!

Fading Trilogy – It’s intense, it’s emotional and I would definitely spend the majority of this film with tears running down my face, but it’s also full of those scenes that are so full of love that you will walk away inspired to live life. And that’s exactly what I want in a film!

What do you think of my choices? Will any of these be in your beach bag this summer?

Who is on your list this week?

Thankfully we will be seeing Ugly Love on the big screen soon! So excited for that one, have you see the trailer? Yes, Never Never is a must. Make sure you don’t read any spoilers, it’s best to go into this book with as little information as possible!

It was one of those books that I just picked up one day to read and then couldn’t stop. I would love this one of the big screen, really need to read the rest of the books in this series too.

Hey Hannah! Great list! I completely agree with The Winner’s Curse – I think it could be a really intense TV show. I haven’t read any of your other choices, but I’ll be adding a few to my TBR list. 🙂 Also, love your graphic!!

Thanks very much, I always like to add a little bit of fun to my TTT. It would have to be done properly, it needs to be like the Peter Jackson standard of worldbuilding! Glad I could help make your TBR that little bit longer!

I wonder who would be cast? I can’t imagine any specific actors/actresses, I’m always rubbish at fantasy casts!

Awww thanks. Sometimes when I actually do my posts in advance I have the time to make them look pretty!

The Winner’s Trilogy is on a lot of lists this week, it certainly made mine! It think it would be beautiful visually, and also really interesting to watch.

The Empire, the costumes, the war. It would be so good on screen. But only if done properly! If someone came along and did it half arse then I would be mad!

Lovely post! The TV sets are adorable. I own the first two Never Never books but haven’t read them yet-I need to get on that. I need to add a bunch of these to my TBR actually! Thanks for the great recs 🙂

WHAT?! You own them but you haven’t read them?! How can this be! You must do so immediately! Glad I could help make your TBR even bigger! Thanks for stopping by, happy reading.

Cute graphics! 😀 I haven’t read any of these books. I should look into them.

I was a year late with it, but it was totally worth it, and even better the second book had been released by then so I got to read both in one go! I really hope you enjoy it when you get round to reading it 🙂
