Top Ten Tuesday2

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by The Broke & The Bookish.
Each week they release a Top Ten List and invite everyone to join in and make their own Top Ten List.
This week is a rewind week, which means that we pick a topic that’s been done in the past and do it again. So, I picked:
Harry Potter Series – J.K.Rowling
This list couldn’t start with any other book, or in this case series (I had to chose series as a whole otherwise picking each book would take over my entire list!). I get SO jealous when I hear that people are reading Harry Potter for the first time and wish so bad that I could be too. It is by far my favourite book series of all time, and I love being transported to Hogwarts over and over again.
The Inheritance Cycle (Eragon, Eldest, Brisingr & Inheritance) – Christopher Paolini
Another series, I know, but this one is right up there with Harry Potter. I was so mind blown the first time I read this I actually haven’t read it again. I’m hoping if I wait long enough then it will be like reading it for the first time again.
Noughts & Crosses – Malorie Blackman
This book took me on a complete emotional roller coaster and left me a complete wreck. I would love to experience all of that again!
Every Day – David Levithan
Another book that completely wrecked me emotionally,
Hopeless – Colleen Hoover
Wow is all I can say about this book without ruining it. So much love for it.
Sweet Home – Tillie Cole
Although reading Sweet Rome (book #2) was amazing, nothing would beat reading this book for the first time again.
Only a short list this week, what’s on yours?.
Leave me a comment and let me know!

I’m with you on Harry Potter. Re-reading the series is great and wonderful on its own, now that you know everything and can SEE the foreshadowing happen. (I’ve been re-reading it for all the “Snape looks at Harry’s eyes” type references…and then crumbling to pieces for SnapexLily.) But nothing beats the excitement and thrill from the very first time reading the books. And racing to finish each one in one day.

I LOVE re-reading HP and noticing all the little things that add up to the BIG things in the later books. The Snape references YES! I never saw that one coming!
I don’t feel like I really appreciated HP the first time, I just wanted to know how it ended! Especially the 7th book, I bought it at midnight and stayed up all night and had finished by 8am! πŸ™‚

Oh gosh ME TOO. It was all about racing to the end, being the first to find out ALL THE THINGS, and then sitting around waiting for the next book and coming up with theories. But now, NOW we can fully appreciate it, take our time reading them and absorbing the information with new eyes. It’s fantastic.

Harry Potter-Always fun to re-read once in a while. The Inheritance books are good too. At least the first 2. I haven’t read the rest yet. πŸ™‚

I LOVED the Inheritance books so much, you really should finish them, the ending is AMAZING! It took me quite a while to get over them! πŸ™‚
