Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten Auto Buy Authors

August 18, 2015 Top Ten Tuesday 14

Top Ten Tuesday

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by The Broke & The Bookish.
Each week they release a Top Ten Theme and invite everyone to join in and make their own Top Ten List.

There are some authors that when you hear they are releasing a new book, you immediately add it to your TBR and pre-purchase on amazon! There is no need to read the description or see the cover, all you need to know is the author!

TTT Tillie Cole

Since the first book of Tillie’s that I read, I have NEVER had to check a description in order to see if I’m going to like her next book. I have read every single one of her books and I have LOVED every single one and I know for a fact that I am going to love every single one of her future books!

Sweet Home . Sweet Rome . Sweet Fall . Sweet HopeIt Ain’t Me Babe . Heart Recaptured . Souls UnfracturedRaze

TTT Colleen Hoover

I was quite late getting on the Colleen Hoover train, but I am most definitely on it now and I am never getting off. Her books are beautiful, emotional and just so damn good! I don’t think I’m ever going to read a Colleen Hoover book and not like it.

Hopeless . Loosing Hope . Ugly Love . Never Never Part 1 . Never Never Part 2

TTT Gayle Forman

I’ve only read a few Gayle Foreman books, but the rest are all sat on my shelf because I walked into a bookstore and the only thing I needed to see was Gayle’s name on the cover before picking them up and buying them.

If I Stay . Where She Went

TTT David Levithan

His books are just so incredible that I can’t help but keep going back to them. I will quite happily read every single thing this man writes!

Every Day . Two Boys Kissing

TTT Marie Lu

I LOVED her Legend trilogy so much that when she released The Young Elites I didn’t even ask what it was about, I just bought it.

TTT Marie Rutkoski

I can’t get enough of Marie Rutkoski at the moment. I keep reading the first two books in her winners trilogy over and over and each time I fall a little bit more in love with them.

The Winners Curse . The Winners Crime

TTT Cassandra Clare2

I was in love with this woman from the first page I read of City of Bones. I know that I will always buy anything that she releases.

City of Bones . City of Ashes . City of Glass . City of Fallen Angels . City of Lost Souls . City of Heavenly Fire

TTT Jamie McGuireJamie McGuire gets quite a bit of controversy surrounding her books, and especially her bad boys. I’m on the Pro-Bad Boys team, especially when Jamie writes them and I don’t know what I would have done without any of her books or her swoon worthy bad boys! She has a new book coming out this month which I haven’t actually read the description for but I have already pre-ordered. Because she is THAT awesome!

Beautiful Oblivion . Beautiful Redemption

TTT B K Ritchie

A writing duo that I am so pleased I gave a chance because life without a Ritchie sister book would be a dull place indeed. They create such incredible characters, with such brilliant stories, to make such amazing books, that become such an addictive series! I hope these girls NEVER stop writing!

Addicted to You . RicochetAddicted for Now . Kiss the Sky . Addicted After All

TTT Katie McGarryI LOVE a good Katie McGarry story, all full of heartache and emotion and cuteness and the kind of stuff that sets of the butterflies in your tummy! I have never come across one of her books that I have not devoured like a crazy person! I am McGarry junkie, forever desperate for my next hit!

Pushing The Limits . Dare You To . Crash Into You . Take Me On . Nowhere But Here

What do you think of my choices? Who would you have picked?

Who did you choose this week?

How did I manage to miss Katie McGarry?! I love her writing. I am working my way through David Levithan’s books and I’m enjoying them so far!

How did you?! Oh dear! Haha. She is amazing, I think I’ll still be reading her when I am old and grey 🙂

Thanks very much. LOVE CoHo, I’m so excited for November 9!!!

    • Brocs Bookcase

Yes! You should also read Where She Went if you haven’t already. Such a great sequel 🙂

I forgot so many this week, I keep seeing them on other peoples and doing the ‘how could I forget that?’ thing! Thanks for visiting!

Great list, Hannah! I didn’t to do TTT this week… no time. Boo hoo! 🙁 I’ve mentioned before that I really want to read something by Tillie Cole. I have a couple by her on my Kindle ready and waiting. We share several in common – especially Colleen Hoover. Love her! I will truly buy anything she writes and wouldn’t even need to read the synopsis first. I already know I’m going to love it. Katie McGarry and Krista and Becca Ritchie are also auto-buys for me, plus Abbi Glines and Jennifer Armentrout. All of them have a way of story telling that just speaks to me and I know I’m going to enjoy every offering. 🙂

You really really need to read those Tillie Cole books on your Kindle!!!! I haven’t read any Abbi Glines or Jennifer Armentrout yet, but one of my friends keeps telling me that I have to! She is obsessed with Jen Armentrout!
I feel exactly the same, I just know I am always going to love their books!

      • Tanya

Okay girl, we totally need to make a deal that by the end of the year I will read one by Tillie Cole and you’ll read one by Jennifer Armentrout. It’s time to broaden our horizons. 😉

  3. Becky @ A Fool's Ingenuity

I love your list of authors, I cannot believe I forgot about Marie Rutkoski and Katie Mcgarry, they are amazing. Definite favourite and auto-buy authors, but they’re ones I don’t even realise I had! And seriously, I feel a strong need to read Tillie Cole from the continue mentions on your blog, there must be something worth checking out right?

    • Brocs Bookcase

Haha, I think I may talk about her a bit too much! I am definitely an obsessed fan! 🙂
Marie Rutkoski is my number one author for this year. I only read The Winners Curse in March of this year and I was immediately hooked.
Thanks for stopping by to check out my list! 🙂
