Top Ten Tuesday2

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by The Broke & The Bookish.
Each week they release a Top Ten Theme and invite everyone to join in and make their own Top Ten List.

J.K.Rowling (7 books) – I imagine that she is going to be on a lot of lists this week as most people will own the entire 7 book Harry Potter series!

Meg Cabot (22 books) – I read Meg’s books so much as a kid, and even now I have grown up they still remain a major part of the pile of books I have in my room. Her books never fail to make me smile and are always so much fun to read.

Anthony Horowitz (16 books) – I originally found Anthony through the Alex Rider series. I watched the film and loved it so then started reading the books. Then not long after I discovered The Gatekeepers series and started reading those too. Such addictive series, and not just for teenage boys!!!

Pittacus Lore (9 books) – Like with Anthony Horowitz I found Piticus Lore through first seeing the ‘I am Number Four’ film adaptation of his book series The Lorien Legacies. I was hooked from the moment I started and now anything he writes I HAVE to have!

Cassandra Clare (14 books) – I started with the set of six books for The Mortal Instruments series. But you can’t just stop there! Then there are the Infernal Devices and the Bane Chronicles. Basically a whole lot of books that you just can’t say no to!

Katy McGarry (6 books) – Katy’s ‘Pushing the Limits’ series is one of my most favourites and every single book she has brought out since book 1 I have had the minute it is available. This is one of those series I hope will never end!

Colleen Hoover (7 books) – It was recommended to me by a friend that I read Hopeless, and within minutes of finishing it I had the rest of the series on my kindle as well as the Slammed series too. Her books are just beautifully emotional and so so good that it is painful to not have her books on my kindle and readily available at all times!

Tillie Cole (5 books) – It has gotten to the point with Tillie that I don’t even read the descriptions on the back of her books, if she has a new book coming out then I have to have it, no questions asked!

Keary Taylor  (9 books)- She was the first author I reviewed for my blog and I haven’t been able to stay away from her books since. She is proof that an author doesn’t have to stick to just one style of book and can in fact be extremely talented in more then one genre

Krista & Becca Ritchie (6 books) – These two surprised me with their Addicted Series. I never thought I was going to like it, but now I can’t stop reading it, nor its spin off series too. I keep hoping for more and more books from them and they keep delivering which makes me SO HAPPY!

What’s on your list this week?

I hope this doesn’t post twice, I was having some problems commenting on your blog! I also have J.K Rowling on my list this week. I just can’t get rid of my Harry Potter books and don’t intend to! I keep thinking I should try the Mortal Instruments series!

Oh no, that’s not good. I just got it once so phew! Disaster averted! I wouldn’t even consider getting rid of my HP books. They are in a permanent pile on my desk as I am always reading them so no point in putting them away! Do it!! It’s a really good series, I keeping my fingers crossed that the films don’t ruin their awesomeness 🙂

Wow, dedication! I got the first four bought for me as a gift, but my mum put my dad in charge of hiding it before my birthday and then he forgot, so I was actually a year late getting them! Haha. I need to replace my Prisoner of Azkaban. My dog (whilst a puppy) may have chewed the corner of it. It was the worst day ever, but he was so cute that it was hard to hate him. It does make reading it kinda hard at the moment though, as I’m missing a bunch of words on the bottom of every single page! 🙁 Thanks for stopping by!

Reading everyone’s lists makes me realise how many authors I have forgotten I own – such as Cassandra Clare and Anthony Horowitz.
    Lovely list.
    Lynn 😀

Haha I know what you mean. I started making my list just from memory and then ran out of authors and so went to my room to find some more and discovered a load of authors I had books for that I had completely forgotten about! Anthony Horowitz! How could I forget him?! Thanks for stopping by 😀
