Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by The Broke & The Bookish.
Each week they release a Top Ten Theme and invite everyone to join in and make their own Top Ten List.
So I must apologise for my post looking a little plain this week. I am currently travelling Denmark and Norway and created this post between my tiney tiny phone and a computer with very bad internet access!
I took part in the debut challenge this year and until I started counting them I actually wasn’t aware of how many debuts I read. I managed to meet my goal of 12 by September! I will definitely be taking part in the challenge again and here are some of the debuts I am most looking forward to…
This is Where It Ends (Marieke Nijkamp) – I was lucky enough to get this one from Netgalley but haven’t actually read it yet. It’s a very relevant topic in todays world and I can’t wait to see how Nijkamp tackles it.
Burning Glass (Kathryn Purdie) – I feel like, from the description of this one, it would be perfect for fans of Marie Lu’s ‘The Young Elites’ and Sabar Tahir’s ‘An Ember in the Ashes’. I’m excited to read about this new world from Purdie.
Timekeeper (Tara Sim) – The premise of this one really fascinates me. I’m a big fan of book involving Time as a major part of the story, and this one with it’s weird magical clocks that stop time when they stop sounds totally fascinating. Want it now!
Bookishly Ever After (Isabel Bandeira) – Ok, so it was the title that pulled me towards this one (and the cover!) but which of us hasn’t wished we could have a romance that is just like a bookish romance. This one looks cute and a perfect read for 2016!
