Ten Ten Tuesday: Top Ten Books I Really Want to Read but Don’t Own Yet

August 26, 2014 Top Ten Tuesday 12

Top Ten Tuesday2

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by The Broke & The Bookish.
Each week they release a Top Ten Theme and invite everyone to join in and make their own Top Ten List.

So this week is all about the books we really want to read but don’t own, which for me is WAY more then ten, because I am totally broke and haven’t been able to just go and buy books for quite a while now. I was very good though, and managed to keep my list down to ten, yeay!

TTT 1-10

Solitaire – I have to admit, it was the cover that immediately pulled me towards this book, I really love it. This book has been getting great reviews and I really can’t wait to get my hands on it!

The Sound of Letting Go – I like that this book is all centred around a sibling relationship, and Daisy’s need to do anything (even ruin her own life) to protect her brother.

Like No Other – Before reading the description for this book I had never heard of the Hasidic religion. This one is a type of Romeo & Juliet story, but with religion being the thing that keeps our two star crossed lovers apart.

Say What You Will – This book just seems so unique and unlike anything I have ever read before and the reviews I have read for it are just outstanding.

Anatomy of a Misfit – Sometimes I love a good high school book all about popularity and the cute boys and this one ticks all the boxes for me.

Lobsters – This one made me laugh so much when reading the description about finding your ‘lobster’ it took me back to the friends episode when Phoebe is trying to explain the exact same thing and I just LOVE it! You can kinda guess how this one is going to end, but I’m so excited to read about the journey these two characters take.

The Art of Lainey – I have wanted this book FOREVER and I’m so mad at myself that I still don’t have it! It looks sooooo good!

I’ll Give You the Sun – Again it was the cover that drew me to this one, closely followed by the very positive reviews. I must get this immediately!

Shadow and Bone – I have been meaning to read this entire series for a very long time but I totally suck and I still haven’t bought them. Urgh!

Ugly Love – I love Colleen Hoover and all of her books and I know that this one is going to be no different!

What do you think of my list? Have you read any of them?

Whats on your list this week?

I’m loving the look of most of these books on your list as usual. I’m hoping to read Lobsters in September, but I need to get my hands on a copy first. I’ve read Solitaire and thought it was good. A very promising debut! I can’t wait to read I’ll Give You The Sun! Great list!
