The weekend is almost over, which means back to work tomorrow for most of us. So to cheer you up (and myself) I am going to be giving you a little bit of bookish fun every Sunday, to make the end of the weekend that little bit easier!
If you haven’t seen already, this month is Harry Potter month on Broc’s Bookcase. Which means that for the next 4 weeks Sunday Funday will be all things Potter!
This week I’m all about the things you can eat/drink: butterbeer, chocolate frogs and Mad Eye Moody Meetballs (who knew there was such a thing!)
Also make sure to check out my Giveaway for an amazing Harry Potter Charm Bracelet.

I tried Butterbeer whilst at the Harry Potter Studio Tour last year and totally loved it. This recipe, from Kat at Design Lively, looks great and all you need is: root beer, half and half, imitation butter and marshmallow fluff! It would make a great non alcoholic alternative at a party, plus you can make your glasses Harry Potter themed like these cool ones above.
See original post with instructions here.
This post, from Fictional Food (a blog which I LOVE!) is great at showing you how to make your own chocolate frog. Sadly it doesn’t hop around, but still, it looks totally cool and everyone would be massively jealous when they see you with it!

I love this idea from the Mummy Darling Precious Petal blog. It’s totally simple to make but looks really cool and would be great for parties or Harry Potter themed get togethers. I will definitely be making some of these soon!

Lastly, you should definitely check out this post from Jessica at the Quirky Bookworm, who threw a Harry Potter themed party with TONS of Harry Potter inspired food including a strawberry shortcake basilisk, Padfoot Chow and Mad Eye Moody Meatballs! Check it out, the ideas are great and if I ever throw a Harry Potter themed party I will be using TONS of these ideas!
What do you think of these foodie ideas? Have you ever made any Harry Potter themed food?
Enjoy your Sunday and have an excellent week!
