Sunday Funday: Easter Eggstravaganza #1

April 6, 2014 Sunday Funday 15

sunday funday easter
The weekend is almost over, which means back to work tomorrow for most of us. So to cheer you up (and myself) I am going to be giving you a little bit of bookish fun every Sunday, to make the end of the weekend that little bit easier!
.
For the next 3 weeks Sunday Funday is going to be about all things Easter! Not just bookish Easterness (I totally just made that word up) but also fun craft things, baking and just fun easter stuff to do.
.
So, this week I will be starting you off with some Easter crafts to do and to decorate your room/house with for your countdown to Easter.
You can find even more on my Easter board on Pintrest!
.
Decoupage Easter Eggs

I LOVE these, they are so pretty and can be decorated with anything. Pages from your favourite book, music manuscript or even just newspaper. They are so simple to make and yet they look so good. Many thanks to Sharon @ Crafts ‘n Coffee for these. She has TONS of egg crafts on her blog, you should definitely check them out!
.
Magic Balloon Treats

These are another one of those really simple things that just look so good. All you need is a balloon, some wool and some glue. That’s all! I found these ones on The WHOOT, a site which I have completely fallen in love with due to all their totally amazing craft ideas!
.
Jelly Bean Topiary

I have been following the Crafty Sisters for quite a while and they never fail to keep me on their site for hours looking through all of their awesome crafts. One that I really love is this Jelly Bean one. Easy, simple and yet it looks great, and totally yummy!
.
Vintage Bunny Card

And finally, this Vintage Bunny card by Tessa @ Crafty Girl Designs. I have Pinned TONS of easter cards (check them all out here) but this one is by far my favourite one and definitely deserved a special mention. There’s nothing like making your own personal easter cards, rather then just buying them from a card shop. Get on it!!!
.
I could keep going all day as there are so many Easter crafts that I LOVE, but then this would never get posted!
I hope you have enjoyed my Easter Eggstravaganza Sunday Funday post. Check checking in the next few weeks for more Easter fun!
.
On a final note: I am hosting a Blog Tour & Giveaway for Magic Unfolds, the second book in N.L.Greene’s MysticSeeker Series. To sign up for this follow the link below. If you want to take part but haven’t read the first book, Illusions Begin, then just let us know when you sign up and we will send that along to you with Magic Unfolds.

I know right, I need to go and buy some glue tomorrow and then have a go!
There are some really cool decorations with them in. There is one that someone has done and strung them up on a line which looks cool. And another where someone has attached them to this twig thing (sounds weird, but looks good) They are on my Easter Board on Pintrest!

We never really do any easter stuff, which is a shame because this looks fun haha. I just tend to buy all the half price eggs afterwards!

Haha, I have been buying Eggs since Tesco started stocking them in February so I think the novalty of Easter will be lost on me this year!
We never do anything massive either, but I’m trying to be a bit more crafty at the moment and some of these Easter crafts just look gorgeous and so much fun!

Ooooh Tesco is so expensive! I might have a go at making those eggs just cos they look awesome!

For the big eggs yeah they are. But you can get a smaller/medium sized one with like mini freddos or chocolate buttons in it for £1. After easter they will go down to like 60p. I always do the same haha 🙂
