What I Plan on Reading this Spring

March 14, 2017 Top Ten Tuesday 6

Top Ten Tuesday

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by The Broke & The Bookish.
Each week they release a Top Ten Theme and invite everyone to join in and make their own Top Ten List.

I am so so busy at the moment with work, my masters, applying for new jobs and just basically keeping my life on track but at the same time I have never been happier. I feel like everything is finally going my way and although I am exhausted by the end of everyday I also feel like I’ve accomplished so much.

Even though I’m super busy I am still managing to keep up my reading (I know, I was suprised too!) and have some very exciting reads planned over the next few months including some really really great ARCs that I have received! But to start, let me tell you whats on my Spring TBR…

Empress of a Thousand Skies – I really really want to read this one, but refuse to buy it whilst the price is so high! Currently £10 for kindle and £13 for a paperback. Really hoping the price goes down soon because I am desperate to read it!

Damnable Grace – I love this series and I am so so so excited for the next book in the series. I love a good Tillie Cole dark romance.

Strange the Dreamer – This book has me so excited! Plus look how pretty that cover is! I’ve bought tickets to attend an event Laini is doing at a local bookstore and I can’t wait to meet her!

Replica – I’ve been meaning to read this one for ages, but just kept forgetting about it. I was in the library the other day and found it so decided to get it out. I’ve got until April 3rd and then they start charging me so hopefully I remember to read and return it and don’t end up with an enormous fine!

Confess – I have to confess (haha) that I still haven’t read this book. But with the new TV show starting in April I felt like it was finally time!

Cold Summer – I really like the look of this one, time travel is one of my favourite things to read about. Plus the cover just calls to me, it’s so pretty!

Flawed – I’ve only read one Cecelia Ahern book before, Love Rosie, and loved it so thought I would give her YA debut a go. I got this one out of the library with Replica so should be reading it pretty soon.

One of Us is Lying – I have big hopes for this one and I’m so excited to get my hands on a copy. It’s pretty unique for me because I’ve not read anything like it before.

So I’ve already read An Ember in the Ashes and LOVED it, but since it’s been a while I really want to reread it before I finally read A Torch Against the Night. I really have no idea why it’s taken me so long to read the sequel, but at least it will mean a shorter wait until the third book once I’ve read it!

I can’t believe that I have had Lady Midnight on my bookshelf since March 2016 and still not read it. It was only seeing that Lord of Shadows is coming out in May that reminded me that I hadn’t read book 1! Hoping to get both of these read this spring and then maybe have a reread of The Mortal Instruments series, I’ve been watching a lot of Shadowhunters and I just want into that world again!

Are you hoping to read any of these books this Spring?

What’s on your list this week?
