The weekend is almost over, which means back to work tomorrow for most of us. So to cheer you up (and myself) I am going to be giving you a little bit of bookish fun every Sunday, to make the end of the weekend that little bit easier!
HAPPY GOOD FRIDAY!
So, as you have probably noticed, it’s not Sunday and yet I have done a Sunday Funday post! Well clever you, you can tell the days of the week! (Sorry, that was mean.)
Basically I had this whole post all ready to go live on Easter Sunday full of recipes for yummy Easter inspired food things you can eat. But then I thought, the shops will probably be closed for the day, plus sometimes food needs like ‘overnight resting time’ (just like me!) and so I didn’t want to spring food on you on the day and you be all gutted that you couldn’t make any of it.
So, instead we are having a Friday Funday! Doesn’t sound as good as Sunday Funday, but it’s what we’ve got!
Also, don’t forget to check out my Easter board on Pintrest which is full of so much more Easter inspired food, crafts, eggs etc.
Cake In An Egg Shell
Who ever thought it would be possible to cook a cake in an egg shell? Defiantly not me! But Stef at Cupcake Project has figured it out and clued us in on how to make these great looking (and also very good conversation starters) egg cupcakes. I can imagine the amazed looks on peoples faces as they crack open an egg and find a cake inside!
Creme Egg Croissant
This looks so GOOD, but at the same time so BAD! But hey, who cares, it’s Easter and so it’s all about the naughty food!
It’s hard to believe it but these carrots are actually cupcakes! I would love to serve these at a meal and see everyones confused faces! And before you ask, no they are not carrot cake!
Creme Egg Animals
I’m not going to lie, I chose these because they look cute! But they would be great if you aren’t the best cook in the world, because it’s all about the decorating with this one… closely followed by the eating!
Bunny Butt Cookies
These make me smile, a lot! So easy to make and they look really cute. They would be perfect for any kind of Easter event, or just for eating in between chocolate eggs!
