My Favourite Releases of 2016 (so far)

June 22, 2016 Top Ten Tuesday 6

Top Ten TuesdayTop Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by The Broke & The Bookish.
Each week they release a Top Ten Theme and invite everyone to join in and make their own Top Ten List.

So, as I was away for a long weekend I only came back into to work yesterday, which meant that for me yesterday was Monday. Then last night upon realising it was actually Tuesday got super mad at myself for not posting my TTT on time! Therefore I am posting it today, which may officially be Wednesday, but for me it’s Tuesday!

I have read some great books already this year, a good mix of new and previously owned but never read books. But my list today is all about the new releases that I read and absolutely LOVED!

This Is Where It Ends Cover never never part 3 cover Honesty Cover

This Is Where It Ends – Although I struggled to connect with some of the characters, this book captivated me and was a very brave and respectful story about the consequences of guns in schools.

Never Never Part 3 – I loved this entire trilogy, but this book was best because it was the final one and we got all the answers we had been waiting for since we started part 1.

Honesty – Seth King has such beautiful writing and this book is no different. It broke my heart in so many ways but was in it’s most basic form a story full of love.

Beautiful Burn Glass Sword Cover Stars Above Cover

Beautiful Burn – I loved this one because 1) it featured a Maddox brother and 2) it was all about the Alpine Hotshots, and elite firefighter group who fight wildfires. It was steamy, both because of the fires and the romance and was an excellent addition to the series.

Glass Sword – I only started reading this series this year and was addicted from page one. This book was such a great continuation of the series and THAT ENDING just made desperate for the next book!

Stars Above – I LOVED THIS BOOK! It gave us so many little extras to The Lunar Chronicles, and an epilogue which was just the perfect ending to this entire series!

A Thousand Boy Kisses Cover Winners Kiss Cover Some Kind Of Perfect

A Thousand Boy Kisses – This book broke my heart again and again and again…and I loved every minute of it. If you are looking for a book that it going to make your heart burst with love whilst also being torn into tiny pieces then THIS is the book for you!

Winners Kiss – This was one of my most anticipated books of the entire year and WOW did it give me exactly what I wanted. This entire trilogy was incredible, but this ending was just perfection.

Some Kind of Perfect – The ending to a series that I never wanted to say goodbye to. I laughed, I cried, I swooned, then I cried some more. I have been with the characters for ten whole books and this one was a beautiful ending for them all.

Walk the Edge – I am a big fan of Motorcycle Club (MC) books and this series is my second favourite one (after Tillie Cole’s of course!) I think I actually enjoyed this book more than the first, and can;t wait for more of them!

Have you read any of the books on my list? Or are you hoping to read them at some point?

What’s on your list this week?

I love the cover of Honesty– so simple, but gorgeous! I’ve never read anything by Seth King, so I’ll have to check it out. Great list! 🙂

The Winner’s Kiss made my list as well! I also read Stars Above and thought it was a rather wonderful end to the whole series. I have Glass Sword on my bookshelf and I really need to start it.
Thanks for sharing and I hope you have a great weekend!
