Books Released in 2015 I am Totally Embarrassed to Confess I Never Read

January 12, 2016 Top Ten Tuesday 20

Top Ten Tuesday

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by The Broke & The Bookish.
Each week they release a Top Ten Theme and invite everyone to join in and make their own Top Ten List.

There were so many books released last year that I wished that I had gotten round to reading. Some of them I am totally embarrassed to have to say I never got round to them. But here’s to hoping that I get the chance to read them this year instead!

I loved the sound of this book and have heard some amazing things about it. I’m really hoping to grab myself a copy of this one eventually!

There were a number of suicide themed books released last year, but sadly this wasn’t one of the ones I got round to reading. I actually follow Jennifer Niven on Instagram and she is always posting up the most beautiful quotes from this book. I really need to read it!

I actually went to a signing of this book and got to meet Gayle Forman. And then stupidly went home and put the book on my shelf. This is the one I am most ashamed of not reading because I know, it being a Gayle Forman book, that it is going to be incredible!

Why oh why have I not read this book yet?! I have read such amazing reviews for this book, plus the cover is gorgeous, but I still haven’t read it! Bad Hannah!

I know what you’re going to say. And you’re right. Why have I not read this book yet?!!! It is sat on my shelf teasing me but for some insane reason I still haven’t picked it up!

Oh the shame! I love CoHo books so so so so much and I have absolutely no excuse good enough for why I haven’t read this book!

I was so excited to read this book and waited and waited for it to be released. And then it was … and I never read it. I will read this one in 2016!

Another one that I really wanted to read and then totally forgot about! Have heard incredible things about this book.

I was actually waiting for this one to go down in price a bit before I got myself a copy. And then it totally slipped my mind…

I loved Non’s debut in 2014 and so I immediately picked up a copy of this one (and got it signed!) at YALC this year. But then I brought so many good books home that it seemed to get lost in the pile, and it’s been sat on my bookshelf ever since.

Another one that is sat on my bookshelf looking all pretty having never been touched! Really really want to read this one!

I only heard about this one near the end of last year, but I immediately needed it…but never seemed to get it.

Did you read any of these books last year? Any good?

Are any of these on your list this week too?

Confess and The Red Queen are both sitting on my kindle waiting but I haven’t gotten to them yet either! Maybe 2016?

Pardon me while I catch my breath. I’m still in shock that you haven’t read Confess… because I know you love Colleen Hoover! 🙂 I read I Was Here last year and actually wasn’t all that impressed. Just a middle of the road read for me. I meant to read The Wrath & the Dawn, too. Even got it from the library but didn’t have a chance to read it before it was due back. I’m still kicking myself that I haven’t read Before We Were Strangers yet. I was dying to get my hands on that one! And now there it sits. It’s among the top of my list of books I want to read early this year.

I know right, I don’t know how Confess slipped through. Big shame for that one! 🙁 I literally just read Before We Were Strangers, it was nice but nothing amazing. Still worth a read though. Hopefully we will both get to read The Wrath and the Dawn this year!

Red Queen was so much fun!
I really want to try The Sin Eater’s Daughter, too!

A Darker Shade of Magic is one of my favorites from last year! You have to read it! 🙂

    Check out my TTT.

The Wrath and the Dawn is amazing! You totally need to read that one. I am currently reading Red Queen and it is rather intriguing.
I hope you are able to get to these soon.
    Thanks for sharing!

I really hope I get the chance to this year! So many people keep telling me how AMAZING it is! I really want to read Red Queen before Glass Sword is released!

  6. Giselle

I totally meant to read None of The Above and All the Bright Places this year but life just got so crazy. I really hope you end up reading these books sometime this year!

Sometimes life just gets in the way, if only we could just sit around and read all day instead! Hopefully we both get round to these this year!

You should definitely read The Wrath and the Dawn, I absolutely loved it! But well, everyone must tell you that since it has so much hype! Some of the books you mentionned I DNF-ed sadly, they weren’t for me (The Sin Eater’s Daughter, All the Bright Places) and some others were just okay read (I was here, Red Queen), so I hope you’ll enjoy them more than I did! 🙂

I hope you’ll be able to get to all of these in 2016!

Glad to hear that you liked Wrath and the Dawn. I’m waiting for pay day then going to grab myself a copy!
