I love book quotes! I have a quote wall in my bedroom and it grows more and more with every book I read. I have read some fabulous books this year all of which were crammed with deliciously powerful (or funny) quotes. Check out my 33 favourites…

“I think people fake that they’re having fun a lot of the time in photos, because they want people to think they’re having fun. Well, that’s not life, is it?”

The Memory Book (Lara Avery)

“Fuck me, relationships are high maintenance as hell. I’m losing track of all the issues we have just from tonight!”
Embody (S.E.Hall)

“No one is born evil, just like no one is born alone. They become that way, through choice and circumstance.”
Glass Sword (Victoria Aveyard)

“Drop the gun, Bandit.”
“There’s only one man who gets to call me that,” I said. “And you’re not near as good looking as him.”
Traitor to the Throne (Alwyn Hamilton)

“Braveness isn’t always loud. Sometimes it’s silent. There’s braveness in sacrifice and kindness. It’s in doing a thing that needs to be done, even though it’s hard, and even though it hurts.”
A Thousand Letters (Staci Hart)

“And the only thing I knew how to do was to hold on as tightly as possible and count every single second until I reached the last one. The one I dreaded most. Sudden, violent, final. The end.”
Seven Days of You (Cecilia Vinesse)

“If I am a sword, I am a sword made of glass, and I feel myself beginning to shatter.”
Glass Sword (Victoria Aveyard)

“There are people you meet that you get to know, and then there are people you meet that you already know.”
Confess (Colleen Hoover)

“We are who are, because of who we’ve been.”
Stupid Love (Cindy Miles)

“We all traverse in and out of people’s worlds, leaving footprints. Some larger, some smaller, but there is always a mark. We can’t sweep it away.”
Amour Amour (Krista & Becca Ritchie)

“I guess we’re almost friends now, or as friendly as you can get when you’re not one hundred percent sure the other person isn’t framing you for murder.”
One of Us is Lying (Karen M.McManus)

“We can’t all be heroes,” I say matter-of-factly.
“If I’m not the hero, what am I?” Maximoff is waiting for me to call him a villain.
“You’re a prince who wants to be a knight.”
Damaged Like Us (Krista & Becca Ritchie)

“It might not be distance or time that takes you away from people. Maybe you decide when you let them go. But I can’t let go yet.”
Seven Days of You (Cecilia Vinesse)

“You aren’t alone.” The hope in his eyes cuts deeply. “You have your crown.”
Kings Cage (Victoria Aveyard)

“I can see the things he doesn’t say, because they’re written all over him.”
The Sleeping Prince (Melinda Salisbury)

“I think that no solution is quick, and no remedy will magically make our pain drift away. I believe that we must go on through this pain we are feeling in order to move on. And I believe whatever God or greater power exists above us brought us together so we may heal together. Heal the other in a way that no other person could.”
Damnable Grace (Tillie Cole)

“He kisses me like he’s giving me every kiss he wishes he could have given me the past, and every kiss he’ll wish he could give me in the future. All at once.”
Confess (Colleen Hoover)

“Anyone, anything, can betray anyone. Even your own heart.”
Glass Sword (Victoria Aveyard)

“I guess that’s the difference in being loved the right way and the wrong way. You either feel tethered to an anchor…or you feel like you’re flying.”
Too Late (Colleen Hoover)

“There is no length to love; it’s infinite. It lives in you always. Hold on to it.”
A Thousand Letters (Staci Hart)

“We’re like lightning and thunder, inherently different but alike enough to share the same sky.”
Damaged Like Us (Krista & Becca Ritchie)

“That’s the trouble with knowing things: you can’t un-know them. Once you let yourself look at them, or say them aloud, they become real.”
The Sleeping Prince (Melinda Salisbury)

“Sometimes you don’t know what you need until you find it.”
Waiting on Prince Harry (Aven Ellis)

“Bronwyn Rojas, I solemnly swear not to murder you today or at any point in the future. Deal?”
“You’re ridiculous,” she mutters, going even redder.
“It concerns me you’re avoiding a promise not to murder me.”
One of Us Is Lying (Karen M.McManus)

“Just try and live. Try and be happy. Or else, what’s the fucking point?”
Sweet Soul (Tillie Cole)

“I fucking love her – and that means nothing to everyone but me.”

“There’s nothing wrong with being different.”
Red Queen (Victoria Aveyard)
